BBYO is the leading pluralistic Jewish teen movement aspiring to involve more Jewish teens in more meaningful Jewish experiences. As expressed in our core values, BBYO welcomes Jewish teens of all backgrounds.
With a network of hundreds of chapters across North America and in 60 countries worldwide, BBYO reaches nearly 70,000 teens annually and serves as the Jewish community’s largest and most valuable platform for delivering fun, meaningful, and affordable experiences that inspire a lasting connection to the Jewish people.

Salt Lake BBYO is part of the Mountain Region, which includes chapters in Arizona, Nevada and Utah.
A “prospective” BBYO-er is someone who comes to a local program and is considering becoming a member of BBYO International.
14 Salt Lake BBYO members are attending the November 2025 Mountain Region Ruach Convention in Mesa, AZ.
The membership fee to BBYO International is $249 and is good for your entire time, grades 8-12, in BBYO. By becoming a member of Mountain Region, teens are afforded the opportunity to experience local programming in their communities, regional programming such as dances, community service days, sports events, and weekend-long conventions, and international programming at large-scale conferences and BBYO Summer Experiences.
The Mountain Region’s mascot is the mountain goat!
