Shalom Y'all to Har Shalom: A Rabbi's Journey from the Mississippi Delta to Park City. Rabbi Jeff Dreifus became Temple Har Shalom's Senior Rabbi in 2025 after serving as Associate Rabbi at Temple Israel in Memphis, Tennessee. Ordained by Hebrew Union College in 2021, Rabbi Jeff previously worked in investment banking and clean energy before entering the rabbinate.
A recognized innovator in Jewish engagement, he co-founded the TI Fellowship, a nationally recognized program for Jewish young adults. Rabbi Jeff holds a degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
When he's not serving the community, Rabbi Jeff enjoys skiing, hiking, rock climbing, and traveling with his family.
